Hotel Description

A bona fide ‘oasis within an oasis’, Jaz Makadi Star & Spa presents the thrill of a Red Sea holiday with the indulgence and comfort of a world-class spa getaway. Part of the Jaz Collection’s Madinat Makadi complex, this resort offers private beach access and a dizzying array of facilities on the doorsteps of the world-class Makadi Spa. Guests of neighbouring hotels will cross the resort for a spa treatment, but all you’ll have to do is step out the front door.Only 30 km away from Hurghada Airport, the resort is easy to access – but admittedly difficult to leave. Of course, you can’t blame guests for getting attached. Between the on-site pampering, incredible water sport scene and tantalising rhythms of the Souk Makadi nightlife, you’ve got the makings for a holiday that lasts. With so many wonderful things going for it, it’s no wonder that Jaz Makadi Star & Spa has won so many industry awards in the past few years.

You’ll enjoy a full suite of facilities and amenities at Jaz Makadi Star & Spa. To begin with, guests have access to luxurious swimming pool (heated in winter), a gym and a wide array of restaurants, bars and lounges. Limited speed free Wi-Fi is available and high speed is against extra charge.
Activities abound both on resort grounds and at the beach. Guests can arrange to go diving, windsurfing, sailing and more with the help of operators at the beach. Meanwhile, the resort features a variety of sporting facilities, including tennis. And then there’s the mividaspa, with its extensive treatments menu. A sauna, steam room, Jacuzzi and massage are also available.

Jaz Makadi Star & Spa is conveniently close to Souk Makadi, a purpose-built haven of cosmopolitan entertainment. In all, it hosts more than 145 retail outlets, dealing in everything from fine jewellery to fine textiles made from world-famous Egyptian cotton. Restaurants, cafés, bars and discos are also in the complex.

Providing exclusive vacations to travelers of all ages and interests. One of the major highlights of the resort is the Madinat Makadi 18-hole Championship Golf Course, which is the longest in the region being 6880 m/7500 yards in length.

Golfing at Madinat Makadi is guaranteed to be a rewarding experience with the stunning views of the Red Sea, mountains, beautiful landscapes, and all-year-round sunshine. Madinat Makadi is considered an ideal destination for golfers of all levels.

The driving range has three t-off areas with a total of about 100 t-boxes for golf lessons and clinics. It is equipped with target bunkers an-greens.
On three complete championship practice holes (Par3/4/5/) beginners can learn to play on real golf holes and meet all the characteristics of golfplay before they can proof their sportsmanship on the 9-hole Par 3 Executive course. Experienced Golf Professionals offer from beginner course to individual coaching for advanced players all kinds of teaching lessons .

18 Holes Championship Course – a great challenge
With a length of 6880 m/7500 yards Madinat Makadi’s golf course is the longest in Egypt, that on the one hand is not easy to play but on the other hand the six t-boxes on every hole will give enjoyment also to the higher handicaps and especially to the ladies. The championship course will surely reach a CR/Slope between 142 and 144.
Three artificial lakes surrounded by flowers and local plants on the front nine holes are a treat for one’s eyes but also a great challenge in golf play. From 12 holes the golfer can enjoy the fantastic view to the dark blue Red Sea. The back nine holes are predominated by a desert landscape interrupted by full green fairways, tee’s and greens.
All in all the assessment of this championship course is: “challenging and difficult but fair”
